![]() ![]() This section features a selection of 40 films by such artists as Walerian Borowczyk, Zbigniew Rybczyński, Wojciech Bąkowski, Julian Antonisz, Kazimierz Bendkowski, Jerzy Kucia, Andrzej Klimowski and Mieczysław Waśkowski. To celebrate 600 years of diplomatic relations between Poland and Turkey, the festival team created a special festival section dedicated to showcasing the works of Polish experimental animation. An Anthology of Polish Experimental Animation All Polish feature films screening at the Istanbul IFF have been co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. One of the international competition jury members will be Joanna Łapińska, artistic director of the T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival. The festival lineup also features a screening of Venus in Furs by Roman Polański. Andrzej Wajda will also receive an award for lifetime achievement.
